I did it!

I wrote the essay I’d wanted to for months. I wrote it in my head for months and then banged it out in a file in just a couple days, and found a handful of people to give me feedback, and chewed on it a while, and added a few things, and tried to get the second draft to people, but had to rush it into print, and did so just after midnight at a fave neighborhood bar I hadn’t visited yet in 2021, and went out in the morning to my local coffeeshop to add the acknowledgments and an emergency info section at the end (because everything is chaos; looking forward to deleting that section sometime when I’m not freaked out over everything), and then went home and shared it on Twitter, and it’s been pretty good since then. Tons of good response from friends, acquaintances, strangers, shares, followers, DMs, etc. There’s a lot of people I’m anxious haven’t seen it or at least responded yet, but the ones who have have been some surprises. So thank you. That’s all for now, I think I can do short posts for a while again.
